Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker capable of correctly carrying out heating and cooking by using electromagnetic induction.
SOLUTION: This induction heating cooker is so structured that a plate 12 is disposed on the upper surface of a main body 11, a control means 16 for controlling the value of an alternating current of a high-frequency current carried to a current-carrying coil 17 and for controlling the value of an eddy current flowing into a container 14 is installed in the main body 11, a monocular infrared sensor 18 disposed so as to face the upper surface of the plate 12 is installed in the main body 11, and a contamination preventing sensor 19 is installed in front of the light receiving surface of the infrared sensor 18. The infrared sensor 18 is so disposed as to be oriented in a direction for receiving the infrared ray radiated from the lower part of the side face of the container 14.
