To reduce difference of temperature increasing speed of a dry distilled object between a proximity of a furnace wall and a central part in the furnace in starting an operation.
Inert gas in the furnace is forcibly circulated through the dry distilled object 3 by a fan 8, heat of the high temperature distilled object 3 near the furnace wall is moved using the circulated gas as a medium to the low-temperature distilled object 3 in the control part in the furnace. Thus, the temperature increase of the low-temperature distilled object 3 in the central part in the furnace is promoted, and the temperature of the distilled object 3 near the furnace wall is decreased, thereby increasing heat transfer quantity by radiation and heat conduction from the furnace body 1 to the distilled object 3, increasing the temperature increasing speed in starting the operation as a whole, and therefore reducing dry distillation period of time is reduced. Temperature difference of the distilled object 3 between the periphery and the central part in the furnace is reduced to reduce dry distillation irregularity.
