Abstract:
To provide an induction machine having a high current utilization rate of a coil.SOLUTION: An induction machine 100 includes: a rotator 20; a stator 10 having comprising n (n is an integer equal to 4 m or larger) coils having a coil pitch substantially equal to a pole pitch of a number of poles 2m (m is an integer) and disposed with a phase shift of 2π/n; and n pairs of half bridges comprising two switching elements connected to a plus-side power supply line 51 and a minus-side power supply line 52 of a DC power supply 50. The coils each have two lead wires, and are sequentially connected in an annular configuration by sequential connection of the lead wires of neighboring coils, with each contact point of the lead wires being connected to each connection point of the two switching elements of each half bridge. The induction machine further comprises a control circuit for switching conduction and non-conduction of each switching element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
