Title:
INDUCTIVE HEATING IRON
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10299
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To enable to adjust the iron temperature unchanged by composing it with an iron body having a base made of thermo-sensitive metal and an iron base to supply electricity to the iron by means of high-frequency magnetic field.

An iron body 40 has a base 14 made of thermo-sensitive metal to change its magnetic character. An iron base 50 to heat up the base 14 is provided with a heating coil 5 to generate high-frequency magnetic field, a high-frequency inverter 10 containing a switching element 4 to feed high-frequency electricity to the heating coil 5, a controller 30 to control ON/OFF of the switching element 4 and a thermo detector (presumption means) 20 to presume the temperature of the base. The controller 30 would control the switching element 4 based on the information through the thermo detector 20. The high-frequency inverter 10 is provided with a rectifying circuit 2 to convert an AC power supply 1 into DC, a filter 3 to take off AC elements from its output, a resonance condenser 6 to compose a resonance circuit 7, a switching element 8 connected to the resonance circuit 7 and a diode 4.
