Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inductor in which a winding part of a bobbin can be improved in strength and reduced in outer shape size, and production efficiency can be improved.SOLUTION: A coil 1 as an inductor comprises: a toroidal core 4 formed of a magnetic material; and a bobbin 2 having a housing part 6 formed as a coating layer sticking on an outer surface of the toroidal core 4 and wound with winding and an arm part 10 extending outward from an outer peripheral surface 28 thereof and having a fixation hole 12, that a fastening member penetrates, formed in a tip part. The bobbin 2 is formed by insert molding integrally with the toroidal core 4 and a collar 14, and has no gap formed between the toroidal core 4 and housing part 6, so while the strength is improved, the outer shape size can be made smaller. Further, only one metal mold is used to mold the bobbin 2 and another assembling operation is unnecessary, which contributes to improvement in production efficiency.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
