Abstract:
To provide an industrial furnace capable of enhancing effects of a waste heat effective use regardless of seasons.SOLUTION: An industrial furnace 1 includes exhaust pipes 101, 102, 103 through which waste heat generated in a furnace facility 100 operated throughout the year is caused to pass. The industrial furnace 1 also includes: a first conversion section 200 for generating a temperature gradient by inputting the waste heat passing through the exhaust pipes 101, 102, 103 to generate sound waves caused by thermoacoustic self-excited vibration; connection piping 300 through which the sound waves generated by the first conversion section 200 are caused to pass; and a second conversion section 400 for generating either one of or both of cold and electric power from the sound waves passing through the connection piping 300. The second conversion section 400 includes: annular input loop piping 401 for inputting the sound waves from the connection piping 300; and a refrigerator 402 disposed in the middle of the input loop piping 401 and generating cold by generating the temperature gradient by inputting the sound waves passing through the input loop piping 401.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
