Abstract:
To provide an industrial vehicle that can suppress the degradation, due to shadows, of accuracy in marker recognition performed by a recognition device.SOLUTION: A forklift 1 is equipped with a traveling device 2, a cargo handling device 3 placed in front of the traveling device 2, and a recognition device 4 that recognizes a marker 35 attached to a cargo object (a pallet 31) handled by the cargo handling device 3. The cargo handling device 3 has a mast 21 attached to the front of the traveling device 2, a lift bracket 22 vertically movably supported by the mast 21, and a pair of forks 23, 23 attached to the lift bracket 22. The recognition device 4 has an image capturing device 41 that captures the front of the cargo handling device 3, and an illumination device 51 that irradiates an image capturing range of the image capturing device 41 with illumination light.
