Abstract:
To monitor an inertia sensor and correct offset errors whether or not the operation of a vehicle has been started.SOLUTION: An inertia sensor output correction device includes: a travel road surface inclination calculation unit for calculating the inclination of a travel road surface of a vehicle in a travel section on the basis of the difference of acceleration between a first acceleration obtained from the inertia sensor and a second acceleration obtained from the rate of the wheel of the vehicle; an estimated altitude change amount calculation unit for calculating the estimated altitude change amount in the travel section by integrating the inclination of the travel road surface with the distance of the travel section; and a correction unit for correcting the output of the inertia sensor according to the amount of change of the estimated altitude.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
