Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for treating infectious medical wastes with which such infectious medical wastes as e.g. syringes and instillation instruments can be safely and simply sterilized in a narrow and small medical site, and for example, by such non-qualified persons and inexperienced persons as ordinary nurses and clerical employees and articles after treatment can be reused as resources as they are. SOLUTION: A plastic container A in which the infectious medical wastes are stored is placed on a freely elevating and lowering placing stand 13 and by immersing it into a heated oil B in a melting tank 11 for a definite time, it is partly melted and sterilized to form a plastic mass C and this plastic mass C is taken out from the melting tank 11 by elevating the placing stand 13.
