Abstract:
To provide a functional food for inhibition or alleviation of inflammatory diseases including a pain, which uses a marine organism, Cucumaria frondosa japonica, and can be taken daily.SOLUTION: Extract from Cucumaria frondosa japonica inhibits human COX-2 activity, and based on this finding, the invention provides a functional food for inhibition or alleviation of inflammatory diseases including a pain, caused by human COX-2.
