Title:
INFLOW PREVENTIVE DEVICE FOR WATERDROP INTO GAS TURBINE SUCTION PORT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001107746
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To prevent the infiltration of a waterdrop into a gas turbine, by inhibiting the adhesion of the waterdrop to an inlet filter in an inflow preventive device for a waterdrop into a gas turbine suction port.

A suction port 17 is provided in a gas turbine building 10 to suck air 30, to remove a waterdrop by a demister 1 from a room 24, and air 30 the duct of which is removed by a filter 16 enters into a room 25 then flows into a duct inlet 23 from the room 25, to be guided to a gas turbine. Since a watering nozzle 22 is provided on the inlet of the port 17 to cool and suck the inflow air 30, the waterdrop is mixed into the air 30, and a waterdrop in air is mixed when rain falls; for preventing the phenomenon, a demister 1 is provided on the front surface of the filter 16 to prevent the infow of the waterdrop into the filter 16. An eliminator, a weather louver, and a wire pad are used as the demister 1 to prevent the increase of a pressure difference between inside and outside the room 25, and the infiltration of the waterdrop into a gas turbine.
