A user of the personal digital assistant registers a predetermined item of business in the personal digital assistant and carries around the personal digital assistant, so that when the personal digital assistant is present within a predetermined range of position corresponding to a server, provider information is collated with user information between the terminal and the server. When the provider information matches the user information and the item of business registered by the user can be executed at a location corresponding to the predetermined range of position, this is reported to the user. In that case, because communication between the server and the personal digital assistant is done by predetermined enciphering, the secrecy of the communication can be increased as high usability is secured. Also, since a secret key or the client's ID is updated, the secrecy of the communication can be further increased.
