To provide an information communication apparatus having a communication fault diagnosis function in which a dedicated button for performing a fault diagnosis of a communication or a selection type menu that can be used by a user having little knowledge about an OS, a network and a network command are provided for avoiding an unintended change of setup, and which can simply and easily investigate a cause of a communication fault.
The apparatus automatically achieves complex connection with the Internet and indicates a location on a screen where communication is not achieved. More specifically, the information communication apparatus comprises a connection check initiating means, a connection check means and a result displaying means. Hereby, the user can know a location where connection is completed out of connection passes to the Internet and can use it as a guideline for coping with a trouble.
