Abstract:
PURPOSE: To accurately discriminate whether or not a call signal is a busy signal at the call reception.
CONSTITUTION: A busy tone detection means 8 detects whether or not a signal at the calling is within a busy tone. A comparator means 18 compares a consecutive time of a signal received at present with a consecutive time of a signal received precedingly at each detection of the signal within a range of the busy tone. A busy tone discrimination means 19 discriminates the signal to be a busy tone when the signal has a periodicity based on the result of comparison and discriminates the signal to be other than the busy tone when no periodicity is in existence.
