Abstract:
To provide a technique that allows execution of light emission control in a state in which the high possibility is specified that a reduction in visibility occurs due to the morning sun and the evening sun.SOLUTION: An information display device is configured comprising: a display surface on which a plurality of light emitting elements are planarly arranged; a horizontal plane illuminance measuring unit that measures horizontal plane illuminance being the illuminance of the sunlight radiated to a horizontal plane; a vertical plane illuminance measuring unit that measures vertical plane illuminance being the illuminance of the sunlight radiated to a vertical plane; and a light emission control unit that, when an illuminance ratio obtained by dividing the vertical plane illuminance by the horizontal plane illuminance is larger than a first threshold, causes the light emitting elements to emit light with high visibility compared with a case where the illuminance ratio is equal to or less than the first threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
