To provide an information display device in which various data such as natural object name data and building structure name data do not need to be previously stored in a storage part, and a real scene and information on a natural object and a building structure can be easily corresponded to each other.
A transflective processing part 52 applies transflective processing to a photographed image of a directory in which, in correspondence to positions of a natural object or a building structure, information on the natural object or the building structure is written so as to generate a transflective image. A display part 4 is caused to display a photographed image of a real scene and the transflective image; and when an instruction of fixing a correspondence relation between the photographed image of a real scene and the transflective image is given, fixed positions in the correspondence relation are stored. A control part 1 causes, when a sensor 3 detects that an information display unit 10 is moved, the transflective image part displayed in the display part 4 to be moved with reference to the fixed positions so that it is corresponded to the photographed image of a real scene which changes in accordance with the movement and displayed on the display part 4.
