PURPOSE: To provide an information display device which is capable of inputting a security kind code by remaining the code in a form which is easy to be understood by a user under a new security code system and the security kind code selection system in it.
CONSTITUTION: These device and system are the information display device and the security kind code selection system where a user inputs the security kind code of the brand selected and displayed from a display device 11 by a numerical code of six figures corresponding to the issuing date, stores input data in a terminal screen control table 30 by an editing means 23', checks whether the data is numerical data or not, converts it into the security kind code of three figures of a new security code system, using a code conversion table 31, retrieves the brand by the code after a conversion, edits security information, and display the information on a display device 11 by the control of a display control means 24.
