Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display system that can quickly present, to a user, appropriate information according to the internal state of an electronic apparatus, electronic apparatus, and control method of the information display system.SOLUTION: There is provided an information display system SY including a receipt printer 1 and a portable telephone 2, where the receipt printer 1 includes one or more display units 12 that perform binary display of on/off, and a display control unit 13 that performs on/off control of the display units 12 according to a state code in which the internal state of the receipt printer 1 is formed into a code; and the portable telephone 2 includes an imaging unit 21 that photographs the display units 12, and a terminal control unit 26 that restores the state code from a result of the photographing by the imaging unit 21 and displays information corresponding to the state code on a display screen 22.
