The information leakage detecting and preventing device 100 is provided with a file attribute setting means 31 designating an existing range 36 of the file, a file position detecting means 32 which detects an existing position of the file, a file position comparing means 33 which compares the existing range 36 set in the file attribute setting means 31 with the existing range 36 of the file detected in the file position detecting means 32 and determines whether the file exists in the existing range or not, and a program execution means 34 executing a program in response to the output of the file position comparing means 33.
