PURPOSE: To obtain an information outlet, which permits connection of a plurality of apparatuses to a transmission line and nevertheless does to disturb the impedance of the transmission line, by permitting injection of wide band signals to the transmission line or extraction of wide band signals from the transmission line.
CONSTITUTION: Terminals 13Aa and 13Ab are the first and second connection terminals of an information outlet and are to be connected to other information outlets or substitute apparatuses therefor. A termianl 13Ac is for connecting a television receiver or a dwelling information apparatus. A signal fed to an input terminal 21a of a first distributor 21 is attenuated by a predetermined attenuation amount before appearing at a branch terminal 21c, and the remaining signal is transmitted to an output terminal 21b. The signal fed to the output terminal 21b appears at the input terminal 21a but is not fed to the branch terminal 21c. The second and third branch units 22 and a wide band distributor 23 operate similarly. The impedances of the individual branch units and distributors looked from the terminals 21a∼21c, 22a∼22c and 23a∼23c are all set to the impedance of 75Ω of the transmission system.
