Abstract:
To solve the problem in which: a starting position of reading for a storage capacity may be different for each model of an apparatus and information associated with a partition recorded in a MBR cannot be retrieved when the starting position of reading does not exist at a predetermined position for the storage capacity.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus is characterized to comprise control means that causes storage means to store location information on read information as second location information when the read information is at a reading starting position of second information, and causes reading means to read information on the basis of location information being different from the location information when the read information is not at the reading starting position of the second information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
