Abstract:
To allow more efficient processing for storing intermediate data in a storage to accelerate RIP processing.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus comprises: acquisition means that acquires PDL data; and generation means that stores intermediate data obtained by analyzing the PDL data in a storage and generates raster data based on the intermediate data read out from the storage. When the size of predetermined data including at least image data in the intermediate data is larger than a predetermined threshold determined according to a preset memory area of the storage, the generation means executes compression processing on the predetermined data and stores the data in the storage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
