Abstract:
To provide an operator, when the operator starts a conversation with a caller by telephone, with information required for the conversation.SOLUTION: A portable terminal 10 transmits, to a server device 20, a telephone number and an error number for specifying an error occurring in an image forming apparatus 40. The server device 20 stores the telephone number and error number transmitted from the portable terminal. When there is an incoming call from the telephone number of the portable terminal 10, the server device 20 assigns the incoming call to a telephone 50 used by an operator 4. The server device 20 supplies the incoming telephone number to a terminal device 30 used by the operator 4. The terminal device 30 transmits the supplied telephone number to the server device 20. The server device 20 acquires an error number stored in association with the telephone number transmitted from the terminal device 30, and provides the terminal device 30 with information on a solution to an error specified by the acquired error number. The terminal device 30 displays information on solution information on the error provided from the server device 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
