A touch operation support utility 150 hooks event notification transmitted from an OS100 to various application programs 200 indicating that a touch operation has been performed on a touch panel 4 (overlapped on an LCD 3). Then, when event notification indicating that a specific touch operation has been performed is obtained, a display screen in the periphery of the operating position is obtained from a GPU 15 through a display driver 112, and the enlarged image is generated and displayed on the LCD 3. Then, when the touch operation is performed on the enlarged image, the operating position is corrected at a position on an original display screen, and event notification after correction is relayed to an application program 200, and the display of the enlarged image is released.
