Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device with a battery, which can be supplied with power from a power supply device and offers improved battery charging efficiency, a control method therefor, and a program.SOLUTION: A power receiving device 10 controls a battery such that the battery is charged using an excess portion of supplied power when the supplied power is greater than operating power (YES in Step S505). If the supplied power is lower than the operating power (NO in Step S505), the power receiving device 10 controls the battery to be discharged to offset the shortfall of power relative to the operating power.
