Abstract:
To provide an information processing device capable of making a user aware of a failure in a non-volatile memory.SOLUTION: An MFP 100 includes an HDD 108 and writes spool data 202 and spool data 203 having the same content as the spool data 202 in different storage regions of the HDD 108. The MFP 100 reads the spool data 202 from the HDD 108 to measure the number of reading errors in the spool data 202 as an error count value. When the error count value exceeds a predetermined threshold value, the MFP 100 notifies a warning regarding the life of the HDD 108.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3A
