Abstract:
To provide an information processor designed such that even a user who is not authenticated by the information processor having an authentication function is allowed to use the function of the information processor, and to provide a method for controlling the same, and a program.SOLUTION: An information processor having a wireless communication function and in which a user authentication function is validated, causes an operation unit to display a login screen for logging in and causes the operation unit to display a screen on which the wireless communication screen can be instructed, by accepting a login, based on user information input via the login screen; meanwhile, causes the operation unit to display a setting screen for establishing a wireless communication using the wireless communication function, by accepting an operation of a specific button without accepting a login in the operation unit while a user has not logged in the information processor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
