To enable a user to bidirectionally, seamlessly and quickly switch a plurality of applications by a simple software mechanism without interrupting user's work during switching the applications.
A screen display control function 32 performs control in displaying content of an application on a screen. A key input processing function 33 acquires a user instruction input by a key input. A screen hierarchy control function 37 manages a screen hierarchy order in displaying content of a plurality of started applications on the screen, arranges a slave application in a screen hierarchy directly below a master application to connect them when the master application and the slave application are set, and moves both the connected master and slave applications in the screen hierarchy in updating the screen hierarchy.
