Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve proper power saving according to waiting time for a traffic light.SOLUTION: An information processing device includes a first acquisition unit, a calculation unit and a power control unit. The first acquisition unit, from one or more traffic lights, acquires traffic light information including identification information for identifying a traffic light, positional information of the traffic light, and time to start lighting and time to end lighting of the color of the traffic light which instructs stop of a vehicle. The calculation unit calculates traffic light waiting time which shows the time for the vehicle to stop for the traffic light, by using one or more pieces of traffic light information. The power control unit controls a power state while the vehicle is stopped in multiple stages according to the traffic light waiting time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
