Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of a false alarm by detecting abnormal sound precisely.
SOLUTION: Form Step S79 to S85, the type of a detected sound is determined on the basis of a time t of average feature value increase. The detected sound is determined to be "glass breaking sound" for t<n, and determined to be "engine starting sound" for n≤t<m. The detected sound is also determined to be "truck passing sound" for m≤t<q, and determined to be "wind" for t≥q. A detected sound determined to be "glass breaking sound" or "engine starting sound" is recognized as an abnormal sound, and an alarm sound is output. A detected sound determined to be "truck passing sound" or "wind" is recognized as an environmental sound, and no alarm sound is output. The technique is applicable to a security device mounted on a vehicle.
