To provide an information processor allowing diagonal scrolling and enlarging/reducing an image while visually confirming a position on the entire image data, and an output image generating method.

The image processor includes: a display range changing part for extracting data for a part of image data as a display range from the image data, a display information generating part for generating display information of a scroll bar corresponding to the display range on the image data; a storing part for storing the position of the scroll bar on the display screen; a scroll bar linking part for acquiring the position of the scroll bar stored in the storing part; and an operation switching part for operating the scroll bar linking part by an input of a connected input device. The display information generating part also generates an extension scroll box on the basis of the position of the scroll bar acquired by the scroll bar linking part when the scroll bar linking part acquires the position of the scroll bar.
