Abstract:
To reduce a cost of a maintenance person dispatch more than a management system for dispatching a maintenance person for an object apparatus in the case that the object apparatus is determined to be in a confirmation required state.SOLUTION: When an apparatus management device 300 determines that a certain apparatus 100 (=an object apparatus) is in a confirmation required state, it causes a different apparatus 100 (=a related apparatus) existing within the same network 110A as the apparatus 100 to confirm a state of the object apparatus via the network 110A. In the case, for example, that the related apparatus cannot communicate with the object apparatus as a result of the confirmation, the apparatus management device 300 causes the related apparatus to display a message promoting to confirm the power source of the object apparatus and a connection state of a LAN cable. If the object apparatus is not in the confirmation required state any more after the display, the apparatus management device 300 determines that a maintenance person dispatch for the object apparatus is not required.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
