Abstract:
To print an appropriate print image in accordance with a kind of a tape cartridge.SOLUTION: A mobile terminal 1 connected to communicate with a tape printer with a tape cartridge mounted thereon includes: an acquisition unit 110 which acquires cartridge information indicating a kind of the tape cartridge mounted on the tape printer; a determination unit 120 which determines whether a tape for a curved label has been stored in the tape cartridge, on the basis of the cartridge information; and a print control unit 140 which causes the tape printer to print a normal print image when the determination unit 120 determines that the tape for a curved label has not been stored in the tape cartridge, or causes the tape printer to print a print image for curved surface whose ends in a tape width direction are wider in the tape width direction than those of the normal print image when the determination unit 120 determines that the tape for curved label has been stored in the tape cartridge.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
