Abstract:
To provide a technique for getting rid of virus from backup data set as read-only data.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus according to the present invention has a first storage unit for storing first data, a second storage unit, a backup unit for storing second data for use in restoration of the first data in the second storage unit as a backup, a switching unit capable of switching the second data between read-only data and rewritable data, and an antivirus unit for carrying out anti-virus processing. The switching unit switches the second data between read-only data and rewritable data, and the anti-virus unit carries out the anti-virus processing for subjecting the second data to the anti-virus processing after the switching unit switches the second data to the rewritable data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
