Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus that reduces usage of memory required for alpha blending processing in a printer to enable high-speed print processing.SOLUTION: The present invention is an information processing apparatus comprising: overlap determination means that, when a drawing object constituting page data of a print job output to an image forming apparatus is a transmission object including an alpha channel as color information, determines if the transmission object overlaps with another drawing object; and conversion means that, when the overlap determination means determines that the transmission object does not overlap with the another drawing object, converts drawing data of the transmission object into drawing data of a drawing object not including an alpha channel as color information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
