Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make executable a processing to be executed corresponding to a two-dimensional(2D) bar code based on the set validity time. SOLUTION: In a personal computer(PC) 1, a CCD video camera 23 is provided in a display part 3. The PC 1 recognizes the pattern of a 2D bar code 101 from the image data, which are picked up by the CCD video camera 23, of object 100 and 2D bar code 101 provided as a result. When the validity of processing corresponding to the recognized pattern of the 2D bar code 101 is effective (before the end of validity), the PC 1 executes that processing. A global 2D bar code server 300 stores a program corresponding to the prescribed 2D code and sends it through an internet 92 to the PC 1 and terminals 400-1 to 400-N.
