To provide: an information processing method capable of estimating a decomposition light oil acquisition amount under prescribed reaction conditions, in a hydrogen treatment reaction of raw material oil including a normal pressure distillation residue oil; a decomposition light oil acquisition amount calculation device capable of estimating the decomposition light oil acquisition amount; a decomposition light oil acquisition amount calculation program; and a computer-readable non-temporary recording medium.SOLUTION: There is provided an information processing method comprising: an information acquisition step of acquiring information related to raw material oil including normal pressure distillation residue oil as of when a prescribed period passes since start of a reaction, information related to product oil, and information related to operation conditions; a deterioration degree calculation step of, on the basis of the acquired information, by a deterioration function, calculating a deterioration degree of a catalyst; a reaction temperature calculation step of calculating a reaction temperature required for satisfying the information related to other raw material oil, the information related to the product oil, and the operation conditions, on the basis of the deterioration degree of the catalyst; and a decomposition light oil acquisition amount calculation step of, on the basis of the reaction temperature and the deterioration degree of the catalyst, calculating the decomposition light oil acquisition amount.SELECTED DRAWING: None
