To provide an information processing method and the like that can improve the utility value of a battery.SOLUTION: A computer receives authentication application for an on-board battery. When receiving the authentication application, the computer acquires diagnostic information on the on-board battery for which the authentication application is received. The computer specifies an evaluation level for the on-board battery based on the acquired diagnostic information.
