To provide an information processing technique capable of performing discrimination if a user rides in a movable body or which movement means is used by the user without depending on a specific device or an apparatus.SOLUTION: In an information processing device which preliminarily detects or connects an apparatus mounted on a prescribed movable body and preliminarily registers identification information corresponding to the detected or connected apparatus in an object apparatus table, an information processing method includes: detecting a first apparatus or connecting the first apparatus; acquiring identification information corresponding to the first apparatus; determining whether the acquired identification information is included in the object apparatus table; and determining that a user associated with the information processing device rides in the prescribed movable body if determined that the identification information is included in the object apparatus table in the determination as to whether to be included.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
