To provide an information processing system, an information processing program, an information processing device, and an information processing method that can execute a novel ball game in which roles in the game are sequentially assigned according to the development of the game.SOLUTION: A user character and an ally character are arranged in a first area of a virtual space, and an enemy character is arranged in a second area of the virtual space. One of a plurality of roles including a role of moving a moving object in the first area or a role of moving the moving object toward the second area is assigned to the user character in a predetermined order according to the progress of the game. The user character is automatically moved on the basis of a predetermined role and a moving direction of the moving object. A predetermined role is assigned to the user character, and when the operation data satisfies a condition corresponding to the predetermined role, the action of the user character causes the moving object to move.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
