To provide an information processing system which can search for travel routes that bring high operating efficiency for a taxi.SOLUTION: An information processing system comprises: route search log acquisition means for acquiring a route search log; demand estimation means configured to match positional information on origins and destinations included in the route search log with spots on a map, and estimate taxi demand on each road on the basis of the number of times of searching made for each spot and positional relationships between the spots and roads; and route search means configured to reflect taxi demand on each road on search cost, and preferentially search for routes with high taxi demand.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
