This information processing system is composed of a database 1 storing information related to a Web site that the portable terminal can display, a Web site, for displaying on the portable terminal, that incorporates a search engine, and a user area that allocates storage areas 2a to 2n to every portable terminal 20. By a personal computer 10, the database 1 is searched and site information is selected, and the selected information is stored in an allocated storage area 2x. The portable terminal 20 gets access to the storage area 2x, and reacquires contents in it to use.
