Abstract:
PURPOSE:To execute graphic processing with a main body able to process text data only by converting and inputting graphic data to text data and at the time of the output, converting and outputting them to the graphic data. CONSTITUTION:Graphic data inputted from an image scanner 4 are converted to the text data by a graphic text converting means 5 and given to an input control means 3. The conversion is executed for example, by segmenting a bit map signal for respective 4 bits and adding a code to show that graphic data are obtained, to respective before it. At the time of the output, an output control means 6 discriminates whether the text data or the graphic data are obtained, by the presence or absence of the addition of the code. At the time of the graphic data, a text/graphic converting means 7 executes the reverse conversion to the graphic data and gives them to a graphic output device 9.
