To provide an information processing terminal capable of protecting personal information or copyright data and preventing a terminal from being illegally utilized by a third person, thereby improving a security function.

The information processing terminal is provided with: a content protecting means for performing protection processing on content data stored within the terminal and storing the content data on an external storage medium; and a key lock means for restricting operations of the terminal itself, and further provided with: a key data setting means for setting data used for protection processing due to the content protecting means as key data, storing and holding the key data within the terminal; and a key lock cancel means for canceling the key lock of the information processing terminal based on protection cancel data that are data to be processed when canceling the protection of the content data stored on the external storage medium, and the key data.
