Abstract:
To facilitate rewrite of a program stored in a storage element in a CPU device with storage element such as a flash ROM storing a program for making a server device function.
The server device comprises a body casing having a front opening; a sub-substrate mounted within the body casing and having a circuit; a holding unit mounted on the sub-substrate and connected to the circuit of the sub-substrate; and a CPU unit detachably mounted on the holding unit, the CPU unit including a CPU, a rewritable ROM which stores a program in a rewritable manner, and a PC card connector which is connected to the CPU and the storage element, and connected to the connector when the CPU unit is stored in the holding means.
