To provide an information processor extracting a biologically important gene by explicitly using a network structure between genes to perform feature selection, and a data processing method and a program therefor.
A data processor 100 includes: a data storage unit 202 which stores data having a network structure in which a plurality of nodes is connected; a network structure learning unit 102 which refers to the data storage unit 202 to learn dependencies among nodes of the network structure of the data; a network storage unit 204 which stores the network structure learnt by the learning unit 102; and a feature selection unit 104 which refers to the network storage unit 204 to select nodes based on the learnt network structure.
