By this, a text data indicating that present time is, 21:29:57, November 11, 1996 for example, is transmitted to the CRT as time information. The CPU reads this and initially set as the present time of an internal clock. Thus, the operation of inputting present time of a user is not necessary at setting up a personal computer and the operation capability improves.
