PURPOSE: To partially emphatically print added data by setting attribute information on a character pattern at every prescribed unit.
CONSTITUTION: A CPU holds a set of added data field information consisting of printing start position information held in a buffer 402, printing end position information, a continuous number value, a character type face setting value, a printing matter setting value, an added data field name and a page change mark in a file 406 through a plotting control part 404 and a file input/output part 405 with other form information in the buffer 402. Consequently, the added data field can be defined in an added data item at the time of designing an overlay slip. The character pattern and a form pattern are overlapped and printed.
