Abstract:
To provide an information processor and an information processing program that improve efficiency of data movement between a plurality of storage devices having different performances.SOLUTION: A hierarchy management unit of a hierarchy storage device includes a queue 11d for storing a movement instruction for instructing a movement processing for moving data between a first storage device 30 and a second storage device 20 having a low access speed. The hierarchy management unit determines target data for the movement processing; stores the movement instruction for the determined target data in a queue; deletes, prior to timing at which the movement instruction for the target data determined at first timing is stored in the queue, from the queue, the movement instruction from the second storage device to the first storage device determined at second timing before first timing; reads the movement instruction stored in the queue, and controls execution of the movement processing according to the movement instruction. The target data in the movement instruction from the second storage device to the first storage device is data in which access concentration occurs or data in which access concentration is predicted to occur in the first storage device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
