Abstract:
PURPOSE: To detect an error in an early stage because possibility of a fault in the same memory chip is high, in the case a 1-bit error of data is generated in the same address, in a main storage device.
CONSTITUTION: An address of a 1-bit error of data generated in a main storage device is held in an error address storage circuit 6. An address of a 1-bit error of data generated in the next time is compared with the address held before by a comparing circuit 7, and in the case they are not the same address, its address is held in the error address storage circuit 6, and in the case they are the same address, it can be known by an error signal.
